Our Mission Statement

The mission of Brunswick Cares Community Food Pantry is to provide supplemental food assistance to individuals and families in need in the Brunswick community and neighborhoods surrounding the church campus.

Goals and Objectives

• Serve the community surrounding the Brunswick Church campus and partner with neighboring church communities, schools and existing referral organizations to reach as many people as possible
• Provide our guests with a positive, supportive experience when they arrive at the pantry
• Recruit, train and support a group of volunteers and to provide an environment where they may serve and provide our neighbors with examples of God’s love
• Provide a safe work area and follow the accepted guidelines set for food pantry operation by the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York
• To promote the flow of support, both financial and physical (food, personal care items, etc.) to sustain the operation of the food pantry
• To actively participate in a coalition of local food pantry programs, allowing for the study of best practices and communication with other organizations as we grow
